These are the General Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy of Hólaskógur

Price

A minimum of twelve guests is required to make a booking. Guests should bring their own sheets, sleeping bag or blanket, and pillow. Linens are available for an additional fee of ISK 9,500 per guest.

The lodge in Hólaskógur has sleeping bag accommodations for 44 guests. The lower floor has three rooms, and the upper floor has two wings with separate sleeping areas.

Cleaning

Guests are requested to return the lodge in the same condition as they entered it, and to ensure they remove all waste when they leave. An additional cleaning fee of ISK 100,000 will apply if the facilities are not returned in proper condition. Additional cleaning instructions can be found on the walls of the Hólaskógur lodge.

Payment and cancellation terms

Payment for accommodation must be made using a payment link sent upon booking. For those with a charge account with Hrauneyjar/Hólaskógur, the booking will be invoiced after the group leaves.

Cancellation:

Accommodation can be cancelled up to 30 days before arrival without any charge.
If accommodation is cancelled 15-29 days in advance, half of the total price must be paid.
If accommodation is cancelled less than 14 days in advance, the accommodation must be paid in full.
