A place of simple comforts, the Mountain Lodge is divided into two levels encompassing multi-person rooms with bunk beds for sleeping bags. Each level accommodates 20 guests.
On the lower level, there are three areas with bunk beds for sleeping bags. Each room has four single beds and two double beds, for a total of eight guests in each room.
The upper level contains two bedrooms, which are divided into three units. Each sleeping area has six single beds and two double beds. In total, each room accommodates ten guests.

Groups larger than what the lodge can accommodate are welcome to use the camping area located outside it for tents, campervans, and motorhomes.
Those staying at the campsite share the WC and kitchen facilities inside the lodge with the rest of their group. The overnight service fee per tent or vehicle is 2500 ISK.
